Operating Instructions
Pairing Controllers
The 8Bitdo USB Wireless Adapter 2 supports one controller connection at a time. To pair a Bluetooth controller:
- Plug the 8Bitdo USB Wireless Adapter 2 into your desired host device. The LED on the adapter will blink rapidly.
- Press the pairing button on the 8Bitdo adapter. The LED will blink even faster.
- Put your Bluetooth controller into pairing mode. Refer to your controller's manual for specific instructions.
- Once successfully paired, the LED on the adapter and your controller will become solid.
Specific Pairing Notes:
- PS4/PS5 Controllers: To put a PS4 controller into pairing mode, hold the SHARE button first, then hold the PlayStation button while the controller is off. For PS5 controllers, hold the Create button, then the PS button.
- Xbox Series/One Bluetooth Controllers: Press the pairing button on the top of the controller.
- Wii Remote: Ensure any compatible Wii Classic Controller is connected to the Wii Remote, then put the Wii Remote into pairing mode.

- Switch Wake-up / Headphone Jack Functionality: The adapter does not support waking up the Nintendo Switch from sleep mode with PS4/PS5 controllers. Additionally, the headphone jack on PS4/PS5 controllers does not function when connected to the Switch via this adapter.
- Multiple Controllers: One adapter supports one controller. To use multiple controllers simultaneously, you will need a separate adapter for each controller.
