4. Setup
Placement
Your Fresh Dishwasher is a freestanding unit. Choose a stable, level surface near a water supply, drain, and electrical outlet. Ensure there is adequate space for the door to open fully and for proper ventilation.
Water Connection
Connect the dishwasher to a cold water supply using the provided inlet hose. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. The water pressure should be within the recommended range (refer to specifications).
Drain Connection
Connect the drain hose to your household drain system. Ensure the hose is properly secured and positioned to allow for efficient water drainage without kinks or blockages.
Electrical Connection
Connect the dishwasher to a dedicated 220V electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters. Ensure the electrical supply meets the appliance's requirements as listed in the specifications.
5. Operating Instructions
Loading Dishes
Proper loading is crucial for effective cleaning. Scrape off large food particles before loading. Place larger items in the lower rack and smaller, delicate items (like glasses and cups) in the upper rack. Ensure items do not block the spray arms.
Adding Detergent and Rinse Aid
- Fill the detergent dispenser with the appropriate amount of dishwasher detergent according to the program selected and the soil level of your dishes.
- Refill the rinse aid dispenser when the indicator light signals it is low. Rinse aid helps with drying and prevents spots.
Selecting a Wash Program
Your dishwasher offers 12 cycle options. Use the push buttons on the control panel to select the desired wash program. Consider the type of dishes and the level of soil when making your selection.
Starting a Cycle
Close the dishwasher door firmly. Press the Start button to begin the selected wash cycle. The dishwasher will automatically proceed through the wash, rinse, and dry phases.
6. Maintenance
Cleaning Filters
Regularly clean the filter system located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub. Remove food debris and rinse the filters under running water. Reassemble correctly to prevent damage and ensure efficient operation.
Cleaning Spray Arms
Check the spray arm nozzles for blockages from food particles. If blocked, remove the spray arms and clean the nozzles with a thin wire or toothpick. Ensure they rotate freely after reinstallation.
Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior surfaces of the dishwasher with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel surfaces, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner to maintain its finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
7. Troubleshooting
Before contacting service, review the following common issues and solutions:
- Dishwasher not starting: Check if the door is fully closed, the power cord is plugged in, and the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Dishes not clean: Ensure dishes are loaded correctly, spray arms are not blocked, and detergent dispenser is filled. Check filter cleanliness.
- Water not draining: Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Clean the filter system.
- Unusual noise: Check for foreign objects in the tub or spray arms. Ensure dishes are not rattling against each other.
