Setup

Connecting the Transmitter Dock

1. Power Connection: Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the 'DC IN' port on the back of the transmitter charging dock. Plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., TV USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator on the dock will light up, indicating it's powered.
2. Audio Connection to TV: Choose one of the following audio output methods from your TV to the transmitter dock:
   • Optical Audio (Recommended): Connect the Optical Audio Cable from your TV's 'Optical Out' port to the 'OPTICAL IN' port on the transmitter dock. Ensure your TV's audio output is set to PCM mode if using optical.
   • RCA Audio: Connect the RCA Audio Cable (red and white plugs) from your TV's 'Audio Out' (L/R) ports to the corresponding RCA ports on the transmitter dock.
   • 3.5mm AUX Audio: Connect the 3.5mm Audio Cable from your TV's 'Headphone Out' or 'AUX Out' port to the 'AUX IN' port on the transmitter dock.
3. Input Selection: On the back of the transmitter dock, use the 'AUX/OPTICAL' switch to select the input method you are using (AUX or OPTICAL).
4. Power On Transmitter: Ensure the 'ON/OFF' switch on the back of the transmitter dock is in the 'ON' position.

Headphone Pairing & Charging

1. Place Headphones on Dock: Place the K1 Wireless Headphones onto the charging stand of the transmitter dock. The headphones will automatically begin charging and attempt to pair with the dock.
2. Charging Indicator: A red light on the headphones indicates charging. It will turn green when fully charged.
3. Connection Indicator: The LED indicator on the transmitter dock will show green and blue lights, confirming a successful connection and readiness for use.

Operating Instructions

Headphone Controls

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the Multi-Function Button (MFB) on the headphone earcup to power on or off. A voice prompt will confirm the action.
• Volume Control: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the earcup to adjust the volume.
• Sound Modes: The headphones offer different sound modes for optimized listening. Press the 'DSP MODE' button on the earcup to cycle through available modes (e.g., Normal, Music, Movie). The corresponding LED on the transmitter dock will change color (Orange for Music, Blue for Movie, Green for Normal) to indicate the active mode.
• Built-in Microphone: The headphones feature a built-in microphone for hands-free calls when connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.

Independent Bluetooth Use

The headphones can be used independently with Bluetooth-enabled devices like laptops or smartphones without the transmitter dock.

1. Power On Headphones: Power on the headphones by pressing and holding the MFB.
2. Bluetooth Pairing: On your device (smartphone, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for 'ANSTEN K1' in the list of available devices. Select it to pair.
