3. Assembly & Initial Setup

Your SAMEBIKE JG-20 Electric Bicycle comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup and prepare for your first ride.

Unboxing and Initial Inspection:

• Carefully remove the bicycle from its packaging.
• Inspect all components for any signs of damage during transit. If any parts are damaged or missing, contact customer support immediately.

Unfolding the Bicycle:

1. Locate the main folding hinge on the frame.
2. Release the safety latch and carefully unfold the frame until it locks into place. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged.
3. Unfold the handlebars and secure them in the upright position using the quick-release lever.
4. Adjust the handlebar height to your preference using the quick-release mechanism (adjustable within 106 - 116 cm).
5. Adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position (adjustable within 77 - 88 cm). Ensure the seat post is inserted beyond the minimum insertion mark.
6. Unfold the pedals if they are in a folded position.

Battery Installation and Initial Charge:

• Ensure the battery is securely mounted on the rear rack.
• Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet. The charging time is approximately 4-6 hours.
• Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

The SAMEBIKE JG-20 offers three distinct working modes to suit your riding needs.

Working Modes:

• Pure Electricity Mode: The bicycle is propelled solely by the motor, controlled via the thumb throttle. Ideal for effortless cruising. (Approximate range: 45KM)
• Pedal Assist Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal, making riding easier, especially on inclines or for longer distances. (Approximate range: 90KM)
• Human Riding Mode: The electric system is off, and the bicycle functions as a traditional pedal bike.
