Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the Micro USB port on the speaker and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Power on the speaker by pressing and holding the Power/Mode button on the control panel. The speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically, indicated by a flashing LED light.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Coby Veranda" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the LED light will stop flashing.

The speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 33 feet (10 meters).

3. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a wider, more immersive stereo sound, you can pair two Coby Veranda speakers together:

1. Ensure both Coby Veranda speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one of the speakers (this will be your primary speaker), double-press the Power/Mode button. The speaker will search for another Veranda speaker.
3. Once the two speakers are paired, they will emit a confirmation tone.
4. Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 2. The audio will play in stereo across both speakers.

4. Connecting via AUX, USB, or TF Card

The speaker supports multiple connectivity options:

• AUX Input: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
• USB Playback: Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically detect and play the files.
• TF Card Playback: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card containing audio files into the TF Card slot. The speaker will automatically detect and play the files.

Operating Instructions

Basic Playback Controls

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button.
• Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause/Call button.
• Volume Up: Short press the '+' button.
• Volume Down: Short press the '-' button.
• Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
• Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.
• Change Mode (Bluetooth/FM/AUX/USB/TF): Short press the Power/Mode button.

Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls:

• Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause/Call button when a call comes in.
• End Call: Short press the Play/Pause/Call button during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause/Call button when a call comes in.

FM Radio Operation

To use the FM radio function:

1. Switch the speaker to FM mode by short pressing the Power/Mode button until you hear the FM radio prompt.
2. To auto-scan and save available stations, long press the Play/Pause/Call button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
3. To switch between saved stations, short press the '+' or '-' buttons.

Maintenance

• Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures. The speaker is not waterproof.
• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
