  • Pencil
  • Drill
  • Stud Finder
  • Phillips Head Screwdriver
  • Socket Wrench
  • Measuring Tape

5.2 Pre-Installation Checks

  1. Determine Wall Type: This mount is designed for wood stud walls or solid concrete/brick walls. Do not install on drywall alone.
  2. Locate Studs: Use a stud finder to locate the center of the wood studs. Mark their positions. For concrete/brick, ensure the wall is solid.
  3. Verify TV VESA Pattern: Check the back of your TV for the VESA mounting holes. Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between them to confirm compatibility with the mount's VESA range (100x100mm to 600x400mm).
  4. Check TV Weight: Ensure your TV's weight does not exceed the mount's maximum capacity of 176 lbs (80 kg).

5.3 Attaching TV Brackets to Your TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
  2. Align the two TV brackets with the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Ensure the pull cords are at the bottom.
  3. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA holes.
  4. Securely fasten the TV brackets to the TV using a Phillips head screwdriver. Do not overtighten.

5.4 Mounting the Wall Plate to the Wall

  1. Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the top and bottom center points for the wall plate.
  2. Hold the wall plate against the wall at the marked height and use the included spirit level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate.
  3. For Wood Studs: Drill pilot holes (recommended size specified in hardware instructions) into the center of the studs. Secure the wall plate using the lag bolts and washers.
  4. For Concrete/Brick Walls: Drill holes (recommended size specified in hardware instructions) and insert wall anchors. Secure the wall plate using the lag bolts and washers into the anchors.
  5. Ensure the wall plate is firmly and securely attached to the wall.

6.1 Attaching the TV

As described in Section 5.5, simply hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate and lower the TV until the automatic lock engages. The anti-scratch padding on the brackets protects your TV.
