3. Product Overview

The ENGERWALL Electric Nail Drill consists of a compact main unit and a lightweight handpiece, designed for both professional and personal use. The main unit features an LCD screen displaying RPM and battery level, along with intuitive controls for speed and rotation direction. The handpiece is engineered for low noise, low heat, and low vibration operation.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the main unit. Connect the USB charging cable to the main unit's input port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the LCD screen will show charging progress. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours and provides over 15 hours of continuous operation at 35000 RPM, or over 20 hours in standard mode.

4.2 Connecting the Handpiece

Connect the handpiece cable to the designated output port on the main unit. Ensure the connection is secure.

4.3 Inserting/Changing Drill Bits

  1. Ensure the handpiece is turned off and the rotation is stopped.
  2. Twist the handpiece chuck counter-clockwise to unlock the collet.
  3. Insert the desired drill bit firmly into the collet.
  4. Twist the handpiece chuck clockwise to securely lock the bit in place. Ensure the bit is properly clamped to prevent loosening during operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the main unit to turn the device on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon activation.

5.2 Adjusting Speed (RPM)

The device offers an adjustable speed range from 0 to 35000 RPM. To adjust the speed, rotate the control wheel on the main unit. Rotate clockwise to increase speed and counter-clockwise to decrease speed. The current RPM will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5.3 Changing Rotation Direction (F/R)

To change the rotation direction of the handpiece, press the control wheel. The LCD screen will display 'F' for Forward (clockwise) rotation or 'R' for Reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation. It is recommended to stop the handpiece rotation before changing direction.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your nail drill. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the main unit and handpiece. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, but ensure no liquid enters the device. WARNING: Do not use acid liquid or harsh chemicals to clean the machine.

6.2 Bit Care

Clean drill bits after each use to remove dust and debris. Store bits in a clean, dry container to prevent damage and maintain their sharpness.

6.3 Storage

When not in use, store the nail drill in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect the handpiece and charging cable for long-term storage.
