Setup and Pairing

Your motion sensor alarm system should be pre-paired out of the box. If you need to re-pair, change the ringtone, or add a new motion sensor or receiver, please follow these steps:

1. Select Ringtone: Plug in the receiver. Press the music button on your receiver to cycle through and select your preferred ringtone. There are 58 ringtones available.
2. Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the volume button on the receiver for approximately 5 seconds until it makes a "ding" sound and the LED lights flash. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode. Alternatively, you can press the music and volume buttons simultaneously to enter pairing mode.
3. Activate Motion Sensor: Promptly turn on the switch of the motion sensor or wave your hand in front of the motion sensor within 5 seconds to complete the pairing process. The receiver will then sound the selected ringtone, confirming successful pairing.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Volume:

To adjust the volume of the receiver, press the volume button. There are 5 volume levels to choose from (0-110dB). This allows you to set the alert volume appropriate for your environment.

Motion Sensor Placement and Range:

The motion sensor detects movement within a 16.4ft range and a 110° angle. For optimal performance, consider the following:

• Place the sensor where it can effectively monitor the desired area without obstructions.
• The sensor comes with an optional adjustable mounting bracket for flexible positioning.
• The wireless transmission range is up to 260ft/100m in open areas. Walls and other obstacles may reduce this range to 80-120ft.

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: The motion sensor requires 4 AAA batteries. Replace them when the indicator light signals low power or when the sensor's performance degrades.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the sensor and receiver. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Environmental Considerations: The motion sensor is not waterproof. If outdoor use is necessary, ensure it is protected by a waterproof cover to prevent damage from moisture.

Troubleshooting

• Sensor Too Sensitive: If the motion sensor is triggering too frequently, you can use a small piece of tape to cover a portion of the sensing surface. This will reduce the sensing range and sensitivity.
• No Alert from Receiver: Ensure the receiver is plugged in and powered on. Check the volume level. If the issue persists, try re-pairing the sensor and receiver as described in the "Setup and Pairing" section.
• Clearing All Settings: To clear all paired settings from a receiver, hold the music button for 5 seconds until the receiver beeps. After this, the receiver should not ring when the motion sensor is activated, indicating all previous pairings have been cleared. You can then re-pair devices as needed.
• Corrosion Issues: Avoid placing sensors in moist environments, such as bathrooms, as this can lead to internal corrosion and malfunction.
