Setup and First Use
- Unpack and Clean: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Before first use, wash the permanent filter basket and the travel tumbler with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- Positioning: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface near an electrical outlet. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: For the first use, it is recommended to run a plain water cycle to clean the internal components.
- Open the top lid of the coffee maker.
- Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the "MAX 10" line indicated on the side water level indicator.
- Place the empty permanent filter basket into its designated slot.
- Place the included travel tumbler or your preferred mug on the drip tray.
- Close the top lid securely.
- Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the power button located at the bottom front of the unit to start the brewing cycle.
- Allow the cycle to complete, then discard the hot water.

Operating Instructions
- Prepare Coffee Grounds: Open the top lid. Place the permanent filter basket into its holder. Add your desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. The included measuring spoon can assist with this.
- Add Water: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water. The side water level indicator shows markings for up to 10 cups, but for single-serve use with the included tumbler, fill to the appropriate level for 14 ounces.
- Place Tumbler/Mug: Ensure the 14-ounce stainless steel travel tumbler (or your own mug) is placed securely on the drip tray beneath the coffee dispenser.
- Start Brewing: Close the top lid. Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet. Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Enjoy Your Coffee: Once the brewing cycle is complete, the coffee maker will automatically shut off. Carefully remove the tumbler/mug. The double-walled stainless steel tumbler helps keep your coffee hot for extended periods.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Daily Cleaning:
- Permanent Filter Basket: After each use, remove the permanent filter basket and discard used coffee grounds. Wash the filter basket with warm, soapy water or place it in the dishwasher (top rack recommended). Rinse thoroughly.
- Travel Tumbler: Wash the stainless steel travel tumbler and its lid with warm, soapy water after each use. The tumbler is dishwasher safe.

- Run 2-3 cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
