5. Operating Your Go-Kart
5.1 Pre-Ride Checklist
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Confirm all safety gear is worn by the rider.
- Check the operational area for any hazards.
- Verify the parental key is set to the desired speed limit.
5.2 Speed Adjustment (Parental Key)
The Go-Kart features a parental key control for speed settings. This allows you to limit the maximum speed for younger or less experienced riders.
- Insert the parental key into the designated slot.
- Turn the key to select one of the three speed settings: 5 MPH (low), 10 MPH (medium), or 15 MPH (high).
- For the lowest speed setting (approximately 5 MPH), turn the key to the "low" position and then remove the key. This prevents the child from changing the speed during operation.
5.3 Starting and Driving
- Ensure the Go-Kart is on a flat, stable surface.
- The rider should sit securely in the seat and fasten the 4-point seat belt.
- Turn the main power switch to the "ON" position.
- Press the accelerator pedal (typically on the right) to begin moving.
- Steer using the steering wheel.
5.4 Braking
To stop the Go-Kart, press the brake pedal (typically on the left). The Go-Kart is equipped with a disc brake system for efficient stopping.

- If storing the Go-Kart for an extended period, charge the battery every 30-60 days to maintain its health.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the Go-Kart with a damp cloth after use. Avoid using harsh chemicals or high-pressure water sprays, which can damage electrical components.
- Tire Maintenance: Regularly check tire pressure and inflate as needed. Inspect tires for wear, punctures, or damage.
- Chain Drive: Periodically inspect the chain for proper tension and lubrication. Lubricate the chain with appropriate chain lubricant to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
