Thank you for purchasing the Retoo Digital Alarm Clock. This device features a clear LED display, mirror functionality, temperature indicator, and dual power options. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance.

Setup

Powering the Device

The Retoo Digital Alarm Clock offers two power options:

1. USB Cable (Included): Connect the provided 100 cm USB cable to the clock's power input and to a USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port. This provides continuous power.
2. AAA Batteries (Not Included): For portable use or as a backup, insert 3 AAA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity. Using only branded alkaline batteries is recommended to prevent rapid discharge.

Initial Time and Date Setting

Operating Instructions

Button Functions

The alarm clock features several buttons on its top surface for various functions:

• MODE: Switches between time, date, and temperature display modes. Long press to enter setting mode.
• ALARM: Activates/deactivates the alarm. Long press to set the alarm time.
• SNZ/LIGHT: Activates snooze function when alarm sounds. Briefly press to check time when backlight is off. Adjusts brightness in setting mode.
• UP: Increases values during setting.
• DOWN: Decreases values during setting.

Setting Time and Date

1. Press and hold the MODE button until the display flashes.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour. Press MODE to confirm and move to minutes.
3. Adjust minutes with UP/DOWN. Press MODE to confirm and move to year.
4. Continue this process for year, month, and day.
5. After setting the date, you can select 12/24-hour format and Celsius/Fahrenheit for temperature using UP/DOWN, confirming each with MODE.
6. Press MODE one last time to exit setting mode.

Setting the Alarm

1. Press and hold the ALARM button until the alarm time flashes.
2. Use UP and DOWN to set the desired alarm hour. Press ALARM to confirm and move to minutes.
3. Adjust minutes with UP/DOWN. Press ALARM to confirm.
4. To activate/deactivate the alarm, briefly press the ALARM button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

Snooze Function and Backlight

• When the alarm sounds, press the SNZ/LIGHT button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (default snooze duration is typically 5-9 minutes, consult product packaging for exact duration).
• To stop the alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., MODE, ALARM, UP, DOWN).
• The clock features an automatic sensor that dims the backlight in dark environments. It also has 2 automatic brightness levels.
• When the backlight is completely off (in standby mode due to prolonged inactivity), press the SNZ/LIGHT button to briefly illuminate the display and check the current time.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the mirror surface or plastic.
• Battery Replacement: If using batteries, replace all 3 AAA batteries simultaneously when the display becomes dim or functions become erratic. Ensure to use new, branded alkaline batteries.
• Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
• Environment: Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
