3. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have a second person assist with certain steps.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the included parts list to identify each piece.
2. Attach Metal Frame Legs: Secure the metal frame legs to the designated bottom panel using the provided screws. Ensure all connections are tight.

3. Assemble Side and Bottom Panels: Connect the side panels to the bottom panel, forming the main storage box. Use the appropriate fasteners as indicated in the detailed instructions.
4. Install Lift Mechanism: Attach the lift-top mechanism to the interior of the table frame and to the underside of the lift-top panel. Follow the specific diagrams for correct orientation and secure fastening.

5. Install Sliding Cover Mechanism: Attach the sliding track mechanism for the sliding cover panel. Ensure smooth operation.
6. Attach Tabletop Panels: Carefully place and secure the lift-top panel and the sliding cover panel onto their respective mechanisms. Test the lift and slide functions to ensure they operate smoothly and safely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Lift Top:

1. To raise the lift top, gently pull the front edge of the lift-top panel upwards. The hydraulic mechanism will assist in lifting it to the desired height.
2. To lower the lift top, gently push down on the lift-top panel. The soft-close design will ensure a quiet and controlled descent. Always keep hands and fingers clear of pinch points during operation.

4.2 Accessing Hidden Storage:

1. The lift-top section reveals a storage compartment when raised.
2. The other section features a sliding cover. Gently slide the top panel to the side to access the second hidden storage compartment.

5. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Spills: Clean spills immediately to prevent staining, especially on the engineered wood surface.
• Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly on the tabletop. Do not place excessively heavy items on the lift-top when it is raised.
• Mechanism Check: Periodically inspect the lift and slide mechanisms for smooth operation. If any resistance is felt, ensure no debris is obstructing the tracks.
• Environmental Conditions: Avoid placing the table in direct sunlight or near heat sources to prevent warping or discoloration of the wood finish.
