Components Overview
Display Console
The indoor display console presents all collected weather data in an easy-to-read format. It features a full-color LED screen with an auto-dimming function based on ambient light.

7-in-1 Solar Sensor Array (Outdoor Unit)
This outdoor unit integrates multiple sensors to measure wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV index, light intensity, temperature, and humidity. It is solar-powered for continuous operation.

Setup
1. Outdoor Sensor Installation
Proper placement of the outdoor sensor is crucial for accurate readings. The sensor should be mounted in an open area, free from obstructions, to ensure accurate wind, rain, and light measurements.
- Choose a Location: Select an open area, ideally at least 6.6 feet (2 meters) off the ground, away from buildings, trees, and other obstacles that could interfere with wind or rain collection.
- Mount the Sensor: Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the sensor array to a pole or suitable structure. Ensure the bubble level on the sensor indicates a level installation for accurate rain and wind direction readings.
- Orientation: Orient the wind direction vane correctly, typically pointing North, as indicated in the sensor's markings.

2. Display Console Setup
- Power On: Connect the power adapter to the display console and plug it into a power outlet. The console will power on and begin searching for the outdoor sensor.
- Initial Pairing: The console will automatically attempt to connect with the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Once connected, outdoor data will appear on the display.
3. Wi-Fi Configuration and Server Sync
To access advanced features like online data tracking and email alerts, connect your weather station to your home Wi-Fi network and sync it with supported weather servers.
- Access Wi-Fi Settings: Refer to the console's menu for Wi-Fi setup options. You will typically need to enter your network name (SSID) and password.
- Connect to Servers: Once connected to Wi-Fi, follow the instructions on the console or in the full PDF manual to register your station with online weather services such as ProWeatherLive, WeatherCloud, WeatherUnderground, PWS, and Awekas. This allows you to view data on web and mobile devices and set custom alerts.

Operation
Understanding the Display
The display console provides a comprehensive overview of current and forecasted weather conditions. Key indicators include:
- Time/Date & Moon Phase: Current time, date, and lunar phase.
- Indoor Temperature/Humidity: Readings from the console's internal sensors.
- Outdoor Temperature/Humidity: Readings from the 7-in-1 outdoor sensor.
- Wind Speed/Direction: Current wind velocity and cardinal direction.
- Rainfall & Rate: Daily, weekly, or monthly precipitation totals and current rainfall intensity.
- UV Index & Light Intensity: Ultraviolet radiation level and ambient light measurement.
- Barometric Pressure: Atmospheric pressure readings, often used for short-term forecasting.
- 4-Day Forecast: Weather predictions for today and the next three days.

4-Day Forecast
The console provides a visual 4-day forecast, showing predicted high/low temperatures and weather icons for today and the subsequent three days. This feature helps you plan your activities based on upcoming weather changes.

Weather Alerts and Alarms
The weather station can be configured to provide alerts for various extreme weather conditions. These include:
- High/Low Temperature (Indoor & Outdoor)
- High/Low Humidity (Indoor & Outdoor)
- High Wind Speeds
- Extreme Barometric Pressure Drop
- High Heat Index
- Low Wind Chill
- High/Low Dew Point
Consult the full manual for detailed instructions on setting up and customizing these alerts.

Add-on Sensors
The system supports up to 7 additional sensors to expand its monitoring capabilities. These can include additional indoor/outdoor hygro-thermo sensors or soil moisture and temperature sensors, sold separately.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Display Console: Wipe the screen and casing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Outdoor Sensor: Periodically check the rain collector for debris (leaves, insects) and clean as necessary. Ensure the wind cups and vane spin freely. Gently wipe the solar panel to maintain charging efficiency.
Battery Replacement
The outdoor sensor array is primarily solar-powered but contains backup batteries (1 CR2 battery included) for continuous operation during low light conditions. The display console uses a power adapter. If the outdoor sensor's battery indicator shows low power, replace the CR2 battery according to the instructions in the full manual.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your weather station, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Outdoor Data on Display:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is powered on and its batteries are functional.
- Check the distance between the sensor and console; it should be within 492 feet (150 meters) line-of-sight.
- Minimize obstructions (walls, large metal objects) between the units.
- Try re-pairing the sensor with the console (refer to the full manual for specific steps).
- Inaccurate Readings (Wind, Rain, Temperature):
- Wind: Ensure the sensor is mounted in an open area, free from wind blocks. Check if wind cups and vane spin freely.
- Rain: Verify the rain collector is clean and free of debris. Ensure the sensor is level.
- Temperature/Humidity: Ensure the sensor is not exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods (radiation shield helps, but extreme conditions can affect readings).
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues:
- Confirm your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are correct.
- Ensure the console is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Restart your router and the weather station console.
