5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to make delicious frozen desserts:
- Pour Mixture: With the machine assembled and the lid securely in place, slowly pour your chilled ice cream mixture through the opening in the transparent lid.
- Start Churning: Plug in the appliance and turn the control knob to the "ON" position. The mixing paddle will begin to churn the mixture.
- Churning Time: Allow the machine to churn for approximately 30 minutes, or until the desired soft-serve consistency is achieved. Churning time may vary based on recipe and room temperature.
- Add-ins: If adding solid ingredients like chocolate chips, nuts, or fruit pieces, do so during the last 5 minutes of churning through the lid opening.
- Serve: Once the desired consistency is reached, turn the control knob to "OFF" and unplug the machine. Remove the lid and mixing paddle, then scoop out your fresh ice cream.
- For Firmer Consistency: If you prefer a firmer ice cream, transfer the churned mixture to an airtight container and place it in the freezer for an additional 2 hours.

| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet issue; machine malfunction. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Test the outlet with another appliance. If issues persist, contact customer support. |
| Ice cream is not thickening. | Freezer bowl not sufficiently frozen; mixture not cold enough; too much mixture. | Ensure the freezer bowl is frozen for at least 20 hours at -0.4°F (-18°C). Chill your mixture thoroughly before adding. Do not overfill the bowl; adhere to the maximum capacity. |
| Mixing paddle is not turning or making unusual noise. | Paddle not installed correctly; mixture too thick; motor obstruction. | Ensure the mixing paddle is correctly seated and the lid is locked. If the mixture is too thick, it may strain the motor; ensure ingredients are liquid before churning. Check for any obstructions. |
