Setup
Follow these steps to assemble your Shop-Vac Wet/Dry Vacuum:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify all included accessories are present.
- Attach Casters: Securely attach the four casters to the bottom of the tank for mobility.
- Install Handle (if applicable): If your model includes a separate handle, attach it according to the instructions provided.
- Filter Installation:
- For dry vacuuming, ensure the Prolong Cartridge Filter is securely in place.
- For wet vacuuming, remove the cartridge filter and install the Foam Sleeve over the filter cage.
- Optionally, a Filter Bag can be used for dry debris collection, placed inside the tank before the motor head is secured.
- Attach Hose: Connect the 8 ft x 2-1/2 in Secure Fit Hose to the vacuum port on the front of the tank. Ensure it is securely fastened.

Operating Instructions
Dry Vacuuming:
- Ensure the Prolong Cartridge Filter is correctly installed.
- Connect the hose to the vacuum port.
- Attach desired nozzle or extension wand.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position to begin vacuuming dry debris like dust, wood chips, or general dirt.
Wet Vacuuming:
- Remove the Prolong Cartridge Filter and install the Foam Sleeve over the filter cage.
- Connect the hose to the vacuum port.
- Attach the 14 In Wet/Dry Nozzle or other appropriate attachment.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position to vacuum liquids or damp messes.
- Monitor the liquid level in the tank to prevent overfilling.
Blowing Function:
- Disconnect the hose from the vacuum port.
- Connect the hose to the blower port located on the motor head.
- Attach desired nozzle for concentrated airflow.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position to use the vacuum as a powerful 135 CFM air blower for clearing debris from hard-to-reach areas or sidewalks.

Maintenance
Emptying the Tank:
- For Liquids: Roll the vacuum to a suitable drainage area. Unscrew the large built-in tank drain plug at the bottom of the tank to release liquids.
- For Dry Debris: Unlatch the two side clips on the motor head. Carefully lift the motor head off the tank. Dispose of collected dry debris.
Filter Cleaning and Replacement:
- Prolong Cartridge Filter: For dry use, regularly check the cartridge filter for dust and debris buildup. Tap it gently to dislodge dirt or rinse with water if heavily soiled (ensure it's completely dry before re-use). Replace when damaged or suction decreases significantly.
- Foam Sleeve: For wet use, rinse the foam sleeve with water after each use and allow it to air dry completely before storing or re-using.
- Filter Bag: If using a filter bag, replace it when full or when suction power is reduced.
