2. Initial Setup

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Ensure all included components, such as the warranty card, instruction manual, and protective pouch/box, are present.

2.2 Winding the Watch

Your OLEVS G9920 is an automatic mechanical watch. It is powered by the motion of your wrist. Before first use, or if the watch has stopped, it needs to be manually wound.

  1. Locate the crown on the right side of the watch case.
  2. Ensure the crown is in its innermost position (position 0).
  3. Turn the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will provide sufficient power reserve to start the movement.
  4. The watch will begin to run.

2.3 Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1 (first click).
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
  3. Once the time is set, push the crown back into its innermost position (position 0) to engage the movement.

2.4 Adjusting the Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted for a custom fit. A strap adjuster is included. If you are unsure how to adjust it, please consult a professional watchmaker.

3. Operating Your Watch

3.1 Automatic Movement

The OLEVS G9920 features a Japanese Automatic movement. This means the watch is self-winding and does not require a battery. It gains power from the natural motion of your arm. Wearing the watch for at least 8-10 hours a day will keep it sufficiently wound. If worn less frequently, manual winding may be necessary.

3.2 Luminous Display

The watch hands and markers feature an HD luminous coating, allowing for clear time reading in low-light conditions. Exposure to light will charge the luminous material.

  • DO NOT wear the watch while swimming, diving, or showering.
  • DO NOT operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.
  • After exposure to water, wipe the watch dry with a soft cloth.
