Setup & Installation
The IXTECH keyless entry door lock is designed for easy installation on standard right and left-hand front doors. Follow these steps carefully:
- Prepare the Door: Ensure your door has standard bore holes. If replacing an existing lock, remove the old hardware.
- Install the Latch: Insert the deadbolt latch into the door edge. Ensure the latch is oriented correctly for your door's swing. Secure with screws.
- Install Exterior Assembly: Place the exterior keypad assembly onto the door, aligning the spindle through the latch.
- Install Mounting Plate: Position the interior mounting plate over the spindle and secure it to the exterior assembly with screws.
- Connect Wires: Connect the wire harness from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly.
- Install Interior Assembly: Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate, ensuring the thumb turn aligns with the deadbolt mechanism. Secure with screws.
- Install Handle Pull: Attach the exterior handle pull and interior lever handle, securing them with the provided hardware.
- Install Strike Plate: Install the strike plate on the door frame, aligning it with the deadbolt latch.
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery cover on the interior assembly and insert 4 AA batteries.
- Perform Handing Process (Crucial): With the door open and unlocked, load 3 AA batteries. Press and hold the RESET button on the interior assembly using the RESET tool. Load the last battery and keep holding the RESET button for 3 seconds until you hear a long "beep". The latch bolt will extend to learn the orientation of the door.

Operating Instructions
The default master code is 12345678. It is recommended to change this code immediately after installation.
- Change Master Code:
Press IXtech twice → Enter Master Code → Press IXtech once → Wait for long green light → Press 1 → Wait for green flash → Enter New Master Code → Press IXtech once → Wait for green flash. - Add User Code:
Press IXtech twice → Enter Master Code → Press IXtech once → Wait for long green light → Press 2 → Wait for green flash → Enter New User Code → Press IXtech once → Wait for green flash. - Delete User Code:
Press IXtech twice → Enter Master Code → Press IXtech once → Wait for long green light → Press 3 → Wait for green flash → Enter Unwanted User Code → Press IXtech once → Wait for green flash. - Silent Mode:
Press IXtech twice → Enter Master Code → Press IXtech once → Wait for long green light → Press 4 → Wait for green flash → Press 1 to enable or 2 to disable → Press IXtech once → Wait for green flash. - Auto-Lock:

Maintenance
