Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your LyxPro amplifier:
- Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cable to the amplifier's power input and then to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
- Instrument Connection:
- For guitars with passive pickups, connect your guitar cable to the Passive Input.
- For guitars with active pickups, connect your guitar cable to the Active Input.
- Microphone Connection: If using a microphone, connect it to the Mic Input using a 1/4" cable.
- Auxiliary Device Connection: To play along with music, connect your smartphone or MP3 player to the Aux In jack using a 3.5mm audio cable.
- Headphone Connection (Optional): For private practice, plug your headphones into the Headphone jack. This will mute the main speaker output.
- External Output (Optional): To connect to a larger sound system or mixing console, use the Line Out jack.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once all connections are made, turn the Power switch to the ON position. The blue indicator light will illuminate.
- Initial Settings: Before playing, set the Master Volume, Mic Volume, Gain, Treble, Middle, and Bass knobs to their minimum (0) positions. Set Time and Repeat for Delay to minimum as well.
- Adjusting Volume: Slowly increase the Master Volume to your desired listening level. If using a microphone, adjust its volume independently with the Mic Volume knob.
- Tone Shaping (EQ): Use the Treble, Middle, and Bass knobs to adjust the amplifier's tonal characteristics. Experiment with these controls to find the sound that best suits your instrument and musical style.
- Overdrive/Distortion: Press the Boost button to engage the overdrive effect. Use the Gain knob to control the intensity of the distortion. Turn the Boost off for a clean tone.
- Digital Delay: Adjust the Time knob to set the duration between the original sound and its repeats. Use the Repeat knob to control how many times the sound repeats.
- Playing with Auxiliary Input: When an auxiliary device is connected to the Aux In, its volume is controlled by the device itself, not the amplifier.
- Power Off: When finished, turn the Power switch to the OFF position.

- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Always use the integrated handle when moving the amplifier. Avoid dropping or subjecting the unit to strong impacts.
