4. Installation Instructions

4.1. Preparation

1. Turn off the water supply valve located at the wall behind the toilet.
2. Flush the toilet to empty the tank. Hold the flush lever down to drain as much water as possible.
3. Use a sponge or towel to remove any remaining water from the tank.
4. Disconnect the water supply line from the bottom of the old fill valve.
5. Unscrew the mounting nut from the underside of the tank and remove the old fill valve.

4.2. Step-by-Step Installation

6. Insert the new RAVINE fill valve into the hole at the bottom of the toilet tank. Ensure the cone washer is properly seated on the valve shank inside the tank.
7. From the underside of the tank, thread the mounting nut onto the valve shank. Hand-tighten the nut firmly. Do not overtighten.
8. Connect the refill tube to the small port on the side of the fill valve and clip the other end to the overflow pipe. Ensure the tube is positioned above the water line.
9. Reconnect the water supply line to the bottom of the new fill valve. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a quarter turn to ensure a snug, leak-free connection.
10. Slowly turn on the water supply valve. The tank will begin to fill. Check for any leaks at the connections.
