4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for effective interdental cleaning:
- Remove the interdental brush set from its packaging.
- Identify the appropriate brush size for your interdental spaces. The mixed set allows you to find the perfect fit for each space.
- Gently insert the brush between your teeth, starting from the gum line. Do not force the brush into tight spaces.
- Move the brush back and forth a few times, then remove it. A single cleaning movement (once in and out) is often sufficient due to the ultra-thin and extra-strong surgical wire (CURAL).
- Repeat this process for all interdental spaces, using the appropriate brush size for each.
- Rinse the brushes and holder as needed during and after use.
- Store the brushes in the holder provided when not in use.
For optimal oral hygiene, use the interdental brushes once a day.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your Curaprox Interdental Brush Set:
- After each use, rinse the interdental brush and holder thoroughly under running water.
- Allow the brushes to air dry before storing them in the provided holder.
- Replace interdental brushes regularly, typically every 1-2 weeks, or when the bristles show signs of wear, bending, or damage. Regular replacement ensures optimal cleaning effectiveness and prevents potential injury to gums.
6. Troubleshooting
- Brush does not fit between teeth: If a brush feels too tight or requires force to insert, do not proceed. Select a smaller brush size from the mixed set. Forcing a brush can cause gum injury.
- Gum bleeding: Slight bleeding may occur initially if gums are inflamed. Continue gentle daily use. If bleeding persists for more than a few days, consult your dental professional.
- White scars on teeth: Inadequate removal of bacteria can lead to demineralization (white scars) on tooth surfaces, especially around braces. Consistent and thorough interdental cleaning is crucial to prevent this.
