Secure the main mirror dash cam unit over your existing rearview mirror using the provided straps. Ensure it is firmly attached and does not wobble during driving.

4.2. Detached Front Camera Installation

4.3. Rear Camera Installation

The rear camera can be installed either inside the vehicle (e.g., on the rear window) or outside (e.g., near the license plate). For external installation, ensure it is waterproof and securely mounted. Connect the rear camera cable to the main mirror dash cam unit. For parking assistance functionality, connect the red wire of the rear camera to the positive wire of your vehicle's reversing light.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.

5.2. Adjusting Screen Brightness

The 11-inch IPS touch screen allows for easy adjustment of brightness. Swipe up or down on the screen to access the brightness control slider and set it to your preferred level for optimal visibility during day or night driving.

5.3. Switching Display Modes

The dash cam supports various display modes on its 11-inch FHD IPS screen: Front View Display, Rear View Display, and Split Screen (showing both front and rear views simultaneously). Tap the screen icons to switch between these modes as needed. You can also adjust the viewing angle by swiping on the screen.

5.4. Loop Recording

The device supports seamless loop recording. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked footage will be automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.5. G-Sensor & Emergency Recording

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. In the event of an accident, the G-sensor automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical footage is preserved for evidence.

5.6. 24h Parking Monitoring

With 24-hour parking monitoring, the dash cam can detect impacts or motion even when the vehicle is parked. This feature requires a continuous power supply (hardwire kit, sold separately) to function effectively while the vehicle is off.

5.7. Reverse Assistance

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the dash cam automatically displays the rear camera view with adjustable parking guidelines. This assists drivers in safely parking and maneuvering in tight spaces.

5.8. GPS Functionality

The included GPS module records your driving route, speed, and location data. This information can be viewed later using a compatible GPS player on a computer, providing comprehensive details of your journeys.

The GPS feature accurately tracks your vehicle's location and route, which can be reviewed on a map.

5.9. Night Vision

The dash cam is equipped with advanced night vision capabilities, ensuring clear and detailed recordings even in low-light conditions or at night. This enhances visibility and safety during nighttime driving.

5.10. 2.5K Resolution

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam screen and lenses. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • SD Card Management: Regularly format your Micro SD card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Use a high-quality Class 10 or U3 Micro SD card (not included) with a maximum capacity of 128GB.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the dash cam in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Dash Cam Not Turning On: Ensure the car charger is properly connected and the vehicle's ignition is on. Check the power cable for any damage.
  • Recording Issues: Format the Micro SD card. Ensure the card is inserted correctly and is not full. Try a different Micro SD card if issues persist.
  • GPS Signal Loss: Ensure the GPS module is securely connected and placed in an area with a clear view of the sky (e.g., on the dashboard). Obstructions like tinted windows or metallic coatings can interfere with the signal.
  • Screen Flickering/Unresponsive Touch: Restart the device. Ensure the power supply is stable. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
  • Rear Camera Not Displaying: Check the connection of the rear camera cable to both the main unit and the rear camera itself. Ensure the cable is not damaged.
