5. Setup
5.1 Initial Opening and Battery Installation
- Locate the emergency keyhole behind the keypad cover.
- Insert one of the emergency keys into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
- While holding the key, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
- Inside the safe, locate the battery compartment on the back of the door.
- Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment.

5.2 Mounting Instructions
The safe has pre-drilled mounting holes in the back for secure installation.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting (e.g., wall or cabinet).
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the safe's back panel onto the mounting surface.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked points.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided expansion screws.
- Ensure the safe is firmly attached and stable.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting/Changing the Passcode
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door (usually near the hinge). The indicator light on the keypad will flash.
- Enter your desired 3-8 digit passcode on the keypad.
- Press the '#' button to confirm. The indicator light will stop flashing, confirming the new passcode is set.
6.2 Opening the Safe

Mode 1: Keypad Entry
- Enter your 3-8 digit passcode.
- Turn the knob clockwise within 5 seconds to unlock the safe.

Mode 2: Override Key
Use this mode if you forget your passcode or if the batteries are completely drained.
- Remove the keypad cover to reveal the emergency keyhole.
- Insert an emergency key and turn it counter-clockwise.
- While holding the key, turn the knob clockwise to unlock.

Mode 3: Emergency Power
Use this mode if the batteries are dead and you do not have the override key readily available, or prefer to use the keypad.
- Connect the emergency battery box to the external power port on the keypad.
- Enter your passcode on the keypad.
- Turn the knob clockwise to unlock.

6.3 Alarm System
The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system for enhanced security.
- Incorrect Passcode Alarm: If an incorrect passcode is entered 3 consecutive times, the alarm will sound for 60 seconds.
- Vibration/Attack Alarm: If the safe experiences violent shaking or an attempted attack, the alarm will sound for 60 seconds.
To silence the alarm, enter the correct passcode or use the emergency key to open the safe.

7. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 4 AA batteries when the low battery indicator light illuminates on the keypad. Always use new, high-quality batteries.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Interior: The interior lining can be gently vacuumed or wiped with a dry cloth to remove dust.
- Keypad: Keep the keypad clean and dry. Avoid pressing buttons with excessive force.
