Setup

Initial Winding

As an automatic mechanical watch, it does not require a battery. For initial use or after a period of inactivity, manually wind the watch by turning the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times until the second hand begins to move consistently. The watch will then self-wind with the motion of your wrist during wear.

Setting the Time and Date

1. Pull the crown out to the first click position to adjust the date. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the desired date.
2. Pull the crown out to the second click position to adjust the time. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure the moon phase indicator aligns with the correct time of day (AM/PM).
3. Push the crown back in to the normal position to start the watch.

• Magnetic Interference: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic sources (e.g., speakers, refrigerators, mobile phones) which can magnetize the movement and affect accuracy. If magnetized, professional demagnetization may be required.

Date Not Changing Correctly

• Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. The date typically changes around midnight. Avoid adjusting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the date mechanism.
