4. Setup and Assembly

4.1. Battery Charging

1. Connect the charger to a standard electrical outlet.
2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. The charger indicator light will show the charging status (refer to charger manual for specific light patterns).
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger and unplug the charger from the outlet.

Note: Fully charge the battery before first use to ensure optimal performance and battery life.

4.2. Lawn Trimmer Assembly

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Operating the Lawn Trimmer

• Starting: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands. Press the safety lock-off button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch to start the motor. The trimmer features a variable speed trigger for added control.
• Stopping: Release the trigger switch to stop the motor.
• Trimming Technique:
  • Hold the trimmer at a comfortable angle, keeping the cutting head parallel to the ground for even cutting.
  • Use a sweeping motion, moving the trimmer from side to side.
  • For edging, tilt the trimmer head to a vertical position and guide it along the edge of sidewalks or driveways.
• Line Advancement: This trimmer uses a 0.080" dual line with bump feed advancement. To advance the line, lightly tap the trimmer head on a firm surface while the motor is running.
