Introduction

This full-size (104-key) keyboard is designed for enhanced productivity and an optimized typing experience, featuring hot-swappable Gateron G Pro Brown switches and white LED backlighting. It offers versatile connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.1 for up to three devices and a reliable USB Type-C wired mode, making it suitable for both Mac and Windows operating systems.

Setup
1. Package Contents

2. Initial Charge
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The battery indicator will show charging status.

3. Connecting Your Keyboard
The Keychron K10 supports both wired and wireless (Bluetooth) connections.

3.1. Wired Mode
- Locate the mode switch on the left side of the keyboard.
- Slide the switch to the "Cable" or "Wired" position.
- Connect the USB Type-C cable from the keyboard to your computer's USB port.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use.
3.2. Bluetooth Mode
The K10 can connect to up to 3 devices via Bluetooth 5.1.

- Locate the mode switch on the left side of the keyboard.
- Slide the switch to the "BT" (Bluetooth) position.
- To enter pairing mode, press and hold Fn + 1 (or 2, 3 for other device slots) for 3-4 seconds until the indicator light above the number keys flashes rapidly.
- On your device (computer, smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "Keychron K10".
- Select the keyboard to pair. Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing.
- To switch between paired devices, simply press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3.
4. Operating System Layout Switch
The K10 supports both Mac and Windows layouts. Use the OS switch located on the left side of the keyboard to select your operating system.

- Mac Mode: Slide the switch to "Mac". The keyboard will use Mac-specific function keys.
- Windows Mode: Slide the switch to "Win". The keyboard will use Windows-specific function keys. Extra keycaps for Windows are included for convenience.
Operating Instructions
1. Function Keys (Fn Combinations)
The K10 features a full set of multimedia and function keys. Some functions require pressing the Fn key in combination with other keys.
- Fn + F1-F12: Multimedia controls (e.g., volume, playback).
- Fn + Light Bulb Key: Cycle through different white LED backlight effects.
- Dedicated Keys: The keyboard includes dedicated Screenshot Key, Siri (Cortana) Key, and Screen Lock Key.
2. Backlight Control
The Keychron K10 features a white LED backlight. You can adjust its brightness and effects.

- Press the Light Bulb key (usually located above the arrow keys) to cycle through 15 different lighting effects.
- To adjust brightness, use Fn + F5 (decrease brightness) and Fn + F6 (increase brightness).
3. Battery Management
The K10 is equipped with a 4000mAh battery, providing extended usage time.
- Battery Life: Up to 240 hours with backlight off.
- Charging: Connect the USB Type-C cable to charge. The keyboard can be used while charging.
- Sleep Mode: The keyboard enters sleep mode after a period of inactivity to conserve battery. Press any key to wake it up.
4. Ergonomic Design
The K10 features two-level adjustable feet (6° and 9°) and an inclined bottom frame for ergonomic support and comfortable typing during long sessions.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from your device.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and frame.
- For deeper cleaning, use the included keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush.
- Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting.
2. Hot-Swappable Switches
The K10 features hot-swappable Gateron mechanical switches, allowing you to easily change switches without soldering.

- Use the included switch puller to gently remove the desired switch.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB.
- Gently push the new switch into place until it clicks. Ensure it is seated firmly.
- The K10 Gateron (Hot-swappable) version is compatible with most MX style 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches on the market (e.g., Gateron, Cherry, Kailh).
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the keyboard is in "BT" mode.
- Make sure the keyboard is in pairing mode (Fn + 1/2/3 held for 3-4 seconds, indicator flashing).
- Check your device's Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Try removing the keyboard from your device's paired list and re-pairing.
- Ensure the keyboard battery is not critically low.
- Keys not responding:
- Check if the keyboard is properly connected (wired or Bluetooth).
- If in wired mode, try a different USB port or cable.
- If in Bluetooth mode, ensure it's connected to the correct device slot (Fn + 1/2/3).
- If a specific key is not working, it might be a faulty switch. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace it.
- Backlight not working or dim:
- Press the Light Bulb key to cycle through effects.
- Adjust brightness using Fn + F5/F6.
- Ensure the keyboard has sufficient battery charge.
- Keyboard frequently disconnects:
- Ensure there are no strong interferences (e.g., other wireless devices) nearby.
- Keep the keyboard within the effective Bluetooth range of your device.
- Update Bluetooth drivers on your computer if necessary.
