Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your LeadsaiL Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Set. This full-sized ergonomic computer keyboard and silent cordless mouse set offers a 2.4GHz wireless connection, designed for efficiency and comfort. It includes a convenient phone/tablet holder integrated into the keyboard.

Please verify that all items are present in your package:

• 1 x LeadsaiL Wireless Keyboard
• 1 x LeadsaiL Wireless Mouse
• 1 x USB Receiver (stored inside the mouse)

Note: Batteries are not included. The keyboard requires 2 AAA batteries, and the mouse requires 1 AA battery.

Setup Instructions

1. Install Batteries:
   • For the keyboard: Open the battery compartment on the underside and insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
   • For the mouse: Open the battery compartment on the underside and insert 1 AA battery, ensuring correct polarity.
2. Retrieve USB Receiver: The USB receiver is stored in the battery compartment of the mouse for safekeeping. Carefully remove it.
3. Connect USB Receiver: Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (laptop, PC, desktop).
4. Power On Devices: Locate the ON/OFF switch on the underside of both the keyboard and the mouse. Slide them to the "ON" position.
5. Automatic Connection: The keyboard and mouse should automatically connect to your computer. No additional drivers are typically required.

Operating Instructions

Keyboard Features:

• Full-Sized Layout: The keyboard features a full-sized QWERTY US layout for comfortable and efficient typing.
• Integrated Phone/Tablet Holder: A built-in slot allows you to securely hold your smartphone or tablet, providing easy access to notifications or for use during video conferences.
• FN+ Shortcuts and Hot Keys: Access various functions quickly using the 12 FN+ shortcuts and 5 dedicated hot keys. These include media controls (play/pause, volume), email, and more. (Note: This function is not compatible with Mac OS).

Mouse Features:

• Silent Click Technology: The mouse is designed with silent click technology to minimize noise during use.

Energy Saving Features

Both the wireless keyboard and mouse are equipped with a smart sleep mode to conserve battery life:

• Keyboard: Enters sleep mode after 5 seconds of inactivity.
• Mouse: Enters sleep mode after 3 seconds of inactivity, and deep sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity.

To wake up either device, simply click any button on the mouse or press any key on the keyboard.

Troubleshooting

• No Connection / Lag:
  • Ensure both keyboard and mouse are powered ON.
  • Check battery levels and replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
  • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
  • Move the devices closer to the USB receiver to rule out range issues (max 10 meters).
  • Restart your computer.
• Keys Not Responding / Mouse Not Moving:
  • Check if the devices are in sleep mode; press any key or click a mouse button to wake them.
  • Verify battery installation and charge.
  • Clean any debris around the keys or mouse sensor.
  • If specific keys are consistently failing, this may indicate a hardware issue.
• Interference:
  • Other 2.4GHz wireless devices or strong electromagnetic fields can cause interference. Try to minimize these.

Maintenance

• Cleaning:
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the keyboard and mouse.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement:
  • Replace batteries when performance degrades or devices stop responding.
  • Always use new, high-quality batteries of the specified type (AAA for keyboard, AA for mouse).
  • Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
• Storage:
  • When not in use for extended periods, turn off both devices using their ON/OFF switches to conserve battery life.
  • Store the USB receiver in the mouse's battery compartment to prevent loss.
