2. Setup
- Initial Power On: Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including language selection and Wi-Fi connection.
- Vehicle Connection: Connect the MaxiPRO MP900 to the vehicle's OBD2 port using the provided OBD2 cable. The device connects directly via cable and does not use Bluetooth for vehicle communication.
- Software Updates: Ensure the device's software is up to date. Connect to a stable Wi-Fi network and navigate to the 'Update' section to download and install the latest software versions for optimal performance and vehicle coverage.

3.1. ECU Coding
ECU Coding allows for customization of vehicle settings, matching replaced components, and activating or deactivating specific features. This function is comparable to OEM diagnostic tools.

5. Maintenance

- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device's screen and body. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use, store it in its protective case.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, especially if it will be stored for an extended period.

6. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to the power adapter and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power it on again.
- No Communication with Vehicle:
- Verify the OBD2 cable is securely connected to both the device and the vehicle's OBD2 port.
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on.
- Check for any blown fuses in the vehicle's OBD2 port circuit.
- Confirm the vehicle model and year are correctly selected in the diagnostic software.
- Software Freezes/Errors: Restart the device. If the issue persists, ensure the software is updated to the latest version. If necessary, perform a factory reset (note: this will erase all user data).
- Slow Performance: Close unnecessary applications running in the background. Clear cached data from the device settings. Ensure sufficient storage space is available.
