Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The PIE1059 requires 8 AA alkaline batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment located at the bottom of the camera. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  2. Micro SD Card Installation: A micro SD card (4 GB to 32 GB, Class 10 minimum) is required (not included). Locate the SD card slot inside the camera. Insert the micro SD card until it clicks into place.
  3. Mounting: The camera is designed for tree mounting. Use the included strap or a compatible mounting accessory to secure the camera firmly to a tree or pole. Ensure the camera is stable and pointed towards the desired monitoring area.
  4. Initial Power On: Slide the power switch from 'OFF' to 'SET' to enter setup mode. The internal screen will activate, allowing you to configure settings.
