4.4 PC Connectivity
To transfer data or view measurements on a PC:
- Connect the SA6 to your computer using the provided Type-C USB data cable.
- Install the necessary software (compatible with Windows-based computers) as instructed in the separate software guide (if applicable).
- All measurement data will be displayed in real-time on the PC screen.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To maintain the device's performance and appearance:
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry immediately.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the casing or screen.
5.2 Storage
When not in use, store the SA6 in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it protected from dust and moisture.
5.3 Battery Care
The device uses a Li-ion battery. To prolong battery life:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use, to maintain a healthy charge level.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures, as this can degrade battery performance.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with the Walfront SA6.
6.1 Device Does Not Power On
- Check Battery: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the Type-C USB cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Power Switch: Verify that the ON/OFF switch is fully in the 'ON' position.
6.2 No Signal Displayed
- Antenna/Probe Connection: Ensure all external antennas or probes are securely connected to the SMA ports.
- Frequency Range: Verify that the selected frequency range (SPAN and center frequency) on the device matches the expected signal frequency.
- Signal Source: Confirm that the signal source you are trying to analyze is active and transmitting.
6.3 PC Connection Issues
- USB Cable: Ensure the Type-C USB cable is properly connected to both the SA6 and the PC. Try a different USB port on your computer.
- Drivers/Software: Verify that the necessary drivers and software for the SA6 are correctly installed on your Windows PC. Refer to the software installation guide.
- Device Mode: Ensure the SA6 is powered on when connecting to the PC.
