1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your Sunco 6-Inch LED Flush Mount Disc Lights. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installation or servicing.
• Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
• Do not modify or alter the fixture.
• Ensure the supply voltage is compatible with the fixture's requirements (120 Volts).
• Do not handle live wires with bare hands.
• This product is Damp Rated, suitable for use in bathrooms and other damp locations, but not directly exposed to water.

4. Installation Instructions

The Sunco LED Disc Light offers versatile installation options for both recessed cans (5-inch or 6-inch) and junction boxes.

4.1. Tools Required

• Screwdriver
• Wire Strippers (if connecting to junction box)
• Safety Glasses

4.2. Recessed Can Installation (5-inch or 6-inch)

1. Turn off power: Ensure power to the fixture is OFF at the circuit breaker.
2. Remove existing trim: Carefully remove the existing bulb and trim from the recessed can.
3. Connect E26 adapter: Screw the provided E26 adapter into the existing socket of the recessed can.
4. Connect TP24 connector: Plug the TP24 connector from the disc light into the E26 adapter's connector.
5. Adjust spring clips: The spring clips on the disc light can be adjusted for 5-inch or 6-inch cans. Ensure they are set to the correct position for your can size.
6. Insert fixture: Gently push the LED disc light into the recessed can until the spring clips secure it flush with the ceiling.

4.3. Junction Box Installation

1. Turn off power: Ensure power to the junction box is OFF at the circuit breaker.
2. Prepare wires: Strip the ends of the black (live), white (neutral), and green/bare copper (ground) wires from the junction box, if necessary.
3. Connect wires: Use the provided wire nuts to connect the corresponding wires:
   • Black fixture wire to Black junction box wire.
   • White fixture wire to White junction box wire.
   • Green/Yellow fixture wire to Green/Bare Copper junction box wire.
4. Secure fixture: Use the provided mounting screws to attach the disc light's base directly to the junction box.
5. Attach diffuser: Twist the diffuser onto the fixture base until securely fastened.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

Once installed, restore power at the circuit breaker. The light can be turned on or off using a standard wall switch.

5.2. Selectable Color Temperature (CCT)

This fixture features a selectable CCT switch located on the back of the light. Before final installation, select your desired color temperature from the available options: 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Cool White), 5000K (Daylight), 6000K (Daylight Deluxe), or 6500K (Daylight Deluxe).

5.3. Dimming Functionality

The Sunco LED Disc Light is dimmable from 10% to 100% with compatible LED dimmers. Refer to the compatibility list below for recommended dimmer models.

The Sunco LED Disc Light is designed for long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance. The LED components are non-removable.

• Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Bulb Replacement: This fixture uses integrated LEDs and does not require bulb replacement.
