4. Installation
The LZHOME 8-inch LED Recessed Light features a canless design for simplified installation. Follow these steps carefully:
Step-by-Step Installation:
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Cut a Hole: Use the provided hole template to mark and cut an 8.1-inch to 8.3-inch diameter hole in the ceiling. An 8.1-inch hole is preferable for a snug fit.
- Connect Wiring: Open the junction box. Connect the household electrical wires to the corresponding wires in the junction box (black to black, white to white, ground to ground). Secure connections with the provided wire connectors or appropriate methods.
- Select Color Temperature (CCT): Before closing the junction box, use the switch inside the box to select your desired color temperature: 3000K, 4500K, or 6000K.
- Position Junction Box: Place the wired junction box into the ceiling hole, ensuring it rests above the ceiling panel.
- Connect Light Panel: Connect the cable from the LED light panel to the junction box.
- Mount Light: Push the spring clips on the sides of the LED light panel upwards and insert the light into the ceiling hole. The clips will secure the light flush against the ceiling.

5. Operation
Once installed, operating your LZHOME LED Recessed Lighting is straightforward.
Color Temperature Selection (CCT):
The color temperature (3000K, 4500K, or 6000K) is selected via a switch located inside the junction box during installation. This setting cannot be changed without accessing the junction box.

Dimming Function:
These lights are 5%-100% dimmable. To utilize the dimming feature, you must connect them to a compatible LED dimmer switch (not included). Refer to the dimmer switch manufacturer's instructions for proper installation and operation.

6. Maintenance
The LZHOME LED Recessed Lighting requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Wipe the light fixture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the finish or electrical components.
- Bulb Replacement: The LED chips are integrated into the fixture and are not user-replaceable. The fixture is designed for long-term use.
