Setup
- Unpack the air fryer and all its components. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or labels.
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Wash the air circulation riser and base tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances, ensuring adequate air circulation.
- Insert the air circulation riser into the base tray, then slide the base tray assembly into the air fryer unit until it clicks securely.
Operating Instructions
Digital Controls and Adjustments
The Brio features intuitive digital controls that are easy to operate. You can set cook temperatures from 50°F to 400°F, adjustable in precise 5°F increments. Unlike primitive methods that regulate temperature by turning the heater on and off, the Brio's heater never turns off while cooking, thanks to its Linear Thermal (Linear T) Technology. This technology continuously monitors temperature fluctuations and makes constant power adjustments every second to maintain the set temperature for perfect results.
You can adjust time and temperature on-the-fly at any point during the cooking process. Simply use the up/down arrows for temperature and time adjustments.
Pre-set Functions
The control panel includes pre-set buttons for common foods like fries, frozen nuggets, steak, poultry, and fish, simplifying the cooking process. Simply select the desired pre-set, and the air fryer will automatically adjust to optimal temperature and time settings.
Safety Features
For your safety, the Brio is designed to pause cooking automatically when the base tray is pulled out (opened). Once the basket is pushed back in (closed), the cooking resumes automatically.

Cleaning & Maintenance
The Nuwave Brio is designed for easy cleanup. The non-stick air circulation riser and base tray are all dishwasher safe. For even easier cleaning, you may line the bottom of the cooking chamber with aluminum foil to catch excess grease and food particles. After each use, allow the appliance to cool completely before disassembling and cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
