4.1 Cleaning the Screen

To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol, or ammonia-based cleaners, as these can damage the screen surface.

4.2 General Care

Keep the monitor in a clean, dry environment. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or high humidity. Do not block the ventilation openings on the monitor's casing.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ALOGIC Clarity monitor, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Display / Black Screen:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the power outlet.
    • Verify that the video cable (USB-C, HDMI, or DisplayPort) is firmly connected to both the monitor and your computer.
    • Check that the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu.
    • Try connecting the monitor to a different video source or using a different cable to rule out cable or source issues.
  • Color Inaccuracy:
    • Access the OSD menu and adjust color settings.
    • Calibrate the display using your operating system's display settings or a dedicated color calibration tool for professional use.
  • Monitor Not Waking Up from Sleep:
    • Ensure your computer's power management settings are configured correctly.
    • Try pressing a key on your keyboard or moving your mouse.
    • Disconnect and reconnect the video cable.
  • Audio Issues (No Sound or Poor Quality):
    • If using the monitor's built-in speakers, ensure the audio output is set to the monitor in your computer's sound settings.
    • For optimal audio, especially with Mac devices, ensure you are connected via a USB-C cable, as HDMI connections may sometimes result in lower audio quality or compatibility issues.
    • Check the volume levels on both the monitor and your computer.
  • Screen Uniformity Issues:
    • If you observe uneven backlighting or brightness variations, ensure the monitor has been on for a sufficient period to stabilize.
    • If issues persist, contact customer support.
