5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
- Connect the device to a computer or a USB power adapter using the provided USB data cable.
- The device will indicate that it is charging. Allow it to fully charge before first use.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side or bottom) until the screen illuminates.
- To power off, press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Recording Audio
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Slide the REC switch (Record) upwards to begin recording. The screen will display recording status and time.
- To save the recording, slide the STOP switch downwards. The device will display "Saved" to confirm.
Important: Do not power off the device before sliding the STOP switch to confirm the file has been saved. Doing so may result in data loss.

The device supports segment recording and automatically saves files if the battery is low or if the device accidentally powers off, preventing loss of important audio.

6.2 Playback
- Navigate through the menu to find your recorded files.
- Select a file and press the Play button to listen.
- Audio can be played through the built-in speaker or by connecting the included headset to the 3.5mm headphone jack.
6.3 MP3 Player Function
The device can also function as an MP3 player. Store music files in a separate folder from your recordings. It supports MP3 and WAV formats.

6.5 Password Protection
