1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Pigeon 1.5L Electric Kettle and Stainless Steel Water Bottle Combo. Please read all instructions carefully before first use and retain for future reference.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

4. Setup

4.1 Electric Kettle Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and its base from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.

4.2 Stainless Steel Water Bottle Setup

1. Unpacking: Remove the water bottle from its packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Wash the bottle and its cap thoroughly with warm soapy water before first use. Rinse well.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Electric Kettle Operation

1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the water level indicator.
2. Close the Lid: Securely close the lid.
3. Place on Base: Place the kettle onto its power base. The 360° swivel base allows for easy placement from any direction.
4. Power On: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF switch down. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.
5. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. The indicator light will turn off.
6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. Exercise caution as steam and hot water can cause burns.
7. Re-boiling: If the kettle has just boiled, wait a few moments before pressing the switch again to allow the thermostat to reset.

1. Filling: Open the sipper cap and fill the bottle with your desired beverage (hot or cold). Do not overfill.
2. Sealing: Ensure the sipper cap is securely closed to prevent leaks.
3. Usage: The bottle is designed for carrying water, tea, coffee, or other non-carbonated beverages. It is suitable for both hot and cold liquids.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1 Electric Kettle Cleaning

Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Interior/Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale:
  1. Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
  2. Bring to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy deposits.
  3. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  4. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution following the product's instructions.
• Base: Never immerse the power base in water or any other liquid. Wipe with a damp cloth if necessary.
