6.2. Receiver Wiring

The receiver must be wired between the power supply and the device you wish to control. Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding.

  1. Identify the input and output wires on the receiver. The receiver typically has two input wires (Live and Neutral) and two output wires (Live and Neutral). Refer to the diagram for color coding.
  2. Connect the input Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires of the receiver to your main power supply.
  3. Connect the output Live (L1) and Neutral (N) wires of the receiver to your light fixture or appliance.
  4. Secure all connections using appropriate wire connectors.

8. Maintenance

8.1. Battery Replacement

The wireless panel switch requires two AAA batteries. When the switch's performance degrades or the indicator light does not illuminate, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 6.1 for battery installation.

8.2. Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the panel switch and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow moisture to enter the devices.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Device not responding:
    • Check if the receiver is properly wired and receiving power.
    • Ensure the batteries in the wireless panel switch are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
    • Verify that the panel switch and receiver are correctly paired according to Section 6.3. If not, repeat the pairing process.
    • Ensure the controlled device (light/appliance) is functional and properly connected to the receiver's output.
  • Intermittent operation:
    • Check the distance between the panel switch and the receiver. While designed for long range, thick walls or metal objects can reduce signal strength.
    • Ensure there are no strong sources of RF interference nearby.
    • Replace the batteries in the panel switch.
  • Wiring concerns:
    • Double-check all wiring connections against the diagram in Section 6.2. Pay close attention to Live (L) and Neutral (N) connections.
    • If wire colors on your receiver differ from standard conventions or the diagram, carefully follow the labels on the receiver itself.
