Setup and Installation

1. Wiring the Speakers and Amplifier

Follow these steps to connect the speakers to the amplifier and power supply.

1. Connect Speaker Cables to Speakers: Use the provided speaker wires. Connect the red wire to the positive (+) terminal and the black wire to the negative (-) terminal on each speaker.
2. Connect Speaker Cables to Amplifier: Connect the other end of the speaker wires to the amplifier terminals. Use screws to secure the wires in the amplifier terminals. Ensure correct polarity (red to + and black to -).
3. Connect Power Supply: Plug the 12V DC power cable into the amplifier and then connect the AC adapter to a power outlet.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

After powering on the amplifier:

1. Turn the knob on the wall plate to the right. You will hear a confirmation sound.
2. The blue light on the amplifier will flash, indicating it is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select the Herdio amplifier.
4. Once connected, the blue light will remain steadily on.
5. You can now play music from your device. Continue turning the knob to the right to increase the volume.

3. Physical Installation (Speaker)

Use the provided cutout template to mark and cut the installation holes for the speakers and amplifier wall plate.

1. Remove the speaker grill using the included hook tool.
2. Insert the speaker into the cutout hole.
3. Tighten the speaker clips with screws to secure the speaker in place.
4. Place the speaker grill back onto the speaker.

4. Physical Installation (Amplifier Wall Plate)

Install the amplifier wall plate into its designated cutout.

1. Ensure all wiring (power, audio, speaker cables) is connected to the back of the amplifier module.
2. Insert the amplifier module into the wall cutout.
3. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided screws.

Operating Instructions

The wall mount control amplifier provides various functions:

• Power & Volume Control: The main knob controls both power (turn to activate) and volume (rotate right to increase).
• Input Selection (BT/STEREO/MIC): Use the input selection switch to choose between Bluetooth, Stereo (AUX-IN), or Microphone input.
• USB Port: Insert a USB flash drive for media playback or use it as a 5V/1A charging port for your devices.
• AUX-IN (3.5mm): Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm audio cable.
