2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unpacking and Receiver Location

The PEIOUS Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo uses a single receiver for both devices. This 2-in-1 USB A/C receiver is conveniently stored inside the mouse, next to the mouse's battery slot. Carefully open the mouse's battery compartment to retrieve the receiver.

2.2 Battery Installation

• Mouse: Requires 1xAA battery. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse, insert the battery with correct polarity, and close the cover.
• Keyboard: Requires 1xAAA battery. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard, insert the battery with correct polarity, and close the cover.

2.3 Connecting the Receiver

The included USB dongle features both USB-A and Type-C plugs, allowing direct insertion into all your USB A/C enabled devices. Simply plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard and mouse will automatically connect.

2.4 Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the side of the keyboard and the underside of the mouse. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the devices. Slide to 'OFF' when not in use to conserve battery life.

3.1 Typing Experience

The keyboard features masterfully designed key mechanics capable of handling up to 5,000,000 presses, ensuring durability for everyday productivity. The round keys with water-drop concave design are anti-grease, providing a comfortable and clean typing experience. 3.2 Apple and Windows Layout Switching

This keyboard is designed for seamless switching between standard Mac and Windows layouts. A single touch allows you to change the layout to suit your operating system, making it ideal for users with MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, or Windows PCs.

3.3 Hotkeys and Multimedia Functions

The keyboard includes 15 hotkeys for quick access to multimedia functions and system controls. These include mute, volume up/down, previous/next track, play/pause, brightness controls, program list, home, copy, paste, search, and turn off screen. 4.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when performance degrades. Follow the instructions in Section 2.2 for proper battery installation. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

• No Connection: Ensure both the keyboard and mouse are powered on. Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into your computer. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
• Lag or Intermittent Connection: Ensure there are no major obstructions between the devices and the receiver. Move the receiver closer to the keyboard and mouse if possible. Avoid using the devices near strong electromagnetic interference.
• Keys/Mouse Not Responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Power cycle both the keyboard and mouse (turn off, then on again).
• Incorrect Key Layout: If using a Mac, ensure the keyboard is set to Mac layout (refer to Section 3.2).
