1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your ODK 47-inch Computer Desk. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure proper function and longevity of your product. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not proceed with assembly if any parts are missing or damaged.
• Assemble the desk on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
• Tighten all screws and bolts securely, but do not overtighten.
• Do not stand or sit on the desk.
• Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
• Distribute weight evenly across the desk surface and shelves.

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is recommended for one person. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage. Identify each component using the provided parts list.
2. Assemble the Metal Frame: Connect the metal frame components according to the diagrams. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten screws until the frame is complete.
3. Attach Desk Top: Carefully place the main desk top panel onto the assembled metal frame. Align screw holes and secure the desk top to the frame using the provided hardware.
4. Install Keyboard Tray: Attach the sliding rails to the designated area under the desk top. Then, slide the keyboard tray onto the rails. Ensure it moves smoothly.
5. Insert Fabric Drawers: Unfold the two fabric drawers and insert the hardboard bottom for stability. Slide the assembled drawers into their respective compartments under the desk.
6. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and fully tighten all screws and bolts. Do not overtighten.
7. Position the Desk: Carefully move the assembled desk to its desired location. The desk foot pads will protect your floor.

5. Operation and Usage

5.1 Monitor Shelf

The integrated monitor shelf is elevated 4.5 inches from the main desk surface, providing an ergonomic viewing height for computer monitors. This design helps reduce neck strain by allowing you to look directly at your screens. The 7.8-inch wide shelf can accommodate two monitors or provide additional storage space.

5.2 Keyboard Tray

The pull-out keyboard tray measures 23.6 inches in width and 11 inches in depth, suitable for full-size 108-key or 87-key keyboards along with a mouse. This tray helps keep your main desk surface clear and protects your keyboard from dust when not in use. It can also serve as an additional storage drawer.

5.3 Fabric Drawers

The desk includes two fabric drawers for additional storage. These drawers are designed for easy setup; simply unfold them and place the provided hardboard at the bottom for structural integrity. Each drawer has a weight capacity of 5 kg (11 lbs).
