Setup and Installation

  1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that controls the power to the light fixture location. Turn off the power completely.
  2. Prepare Mounting: Remove the old fixture (if applicable). Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the plate is securely fastened.
  3. Adjust Cord Length: The pendant comes with a 120-inch hanging cord. Adjust the cord length to your desired height by feeding the cord through the canopy and securing it.
  4. Wire Connections:
    • Connect the fixture's black wire to the house's black (hot) wire.
    • Connect the fixture's white wire to the house's white (neutral) wire.
    • Connect the fixture's ground wire to the house's ground wire (bare copper or green).
    • Secure all connections with wire nuts and wrap with electrical tape for added safety.
  5. Mount Canopy: Carefully push the wired connections into the junction box. Secure the fixture canopy to the mounting plate using the provided screws.
  6. Install Glass Shade:

    Thread the glass shade onto the fixture body and secure it with the socket ring. Do not overtighten.

  7. Install Bulb: Insert one medium (E26) base bulb (not included) into the socket. Do not exceed the maximum wattage of 100 watts. Vintage Edison style bulbs are recommended for aesthetic purposes.
  8. Restore Power: Once installation is complete, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
