Troubleshooting
SSD Ejection Issues (macOS Ventura/Monterey)
If you experience issues with your SSD ejecting unexpectedly on macOS Ventura or Monterey, it may be related to automatic sleep settings. To prevent this, adjust your system settings:
- Go to System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
- Find and enter "Energy Saver".
- Disable the option: "Put hard disks to sleep when possible".
- For macOS Ventura, also open "Displays", click "Advanced", and turn off "Prevent automatic sleeping when the display is off".
