The FASTCABLiNG DIN Rail PoE Surge Protector is designed for easy integration into your network infrastructure. Follow these steps for proper installation.

1. Mounting Options

The surge protector can be mounted on a standard DIN rail or directly to a flat surface using screws.

2. Grounding Connection

A secure earth ground connection is critical for the effective operation of the surge protector. Connect a grounding wire (not included) to the grounding terminal on the unit and to a reliable earth ground point.

Important: Without a proper ground connection, the surge protector cannot divert excess voltage safely, rendering it ineffective.

3. Connecting Network Cables

Connect your network cables to the designated "IN" and "OUT" ports on the surge protector.

No user intervention is required for its protective function.
