1. Introduction

2. Package Contents

Before proceeding with setup, please ensure all components are present:

  • WX50 Handheld Transmitter (Microphone)
  • QuickMic Receiver
  • 1/4-inch to 1/8-inch Gold Adapter

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Charging the Receiver

  1. Locate the DC 5V Charging Port on the QuickMic Receiver.
  2. Connect the provided power cord to the charging port and a suitable USB power source (not included).
  3. The Charge Indicator LED will illuminate red while charging and turn green when fully charged.

3.2 Installing Batteries in the Transmitter

  1. Unscrew the bottom cap of the handheld transmitter to access the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the included Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Securely screw the bottom cap back onto the transmitter.

3.3 Connecting the Receiver

  1. Plug the QuickMic Receiver directly into a 1/4-inch input jack on your mixer, amplifier, or PA system. If your input is 1/8-inch, use the provided 1/4-inch to 1/8-inch gold adapter.
  2. Ensure the receiver is securely seated in the input.

3.4 Powering On and Frequency Selection

  1. Press and hold the On/Off Switch on the QuickMic Receiver to power it on. The RF Indicator will light up.
  2. Press and hold the On/Off Switch on the handheld transmitter to power it on. The Frequency Display will illuminate.
  3. The system will automatically pair. If pairing does not occur, or if you experience interference, press the Frequency Selection Button on the handheld transmitter to cycle through available frequencies until a clear channel is found. The RF Indicator on the receiver will show red for Channel A and green for Channel B.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Microphone

  • Once powered on and paired, the microphone is ready for use.
  • Speak directly into the top grille of the microphone for optimal sound pickup.
  • Use the On/Off Mute Switch on the handheld transmitter to temporarily mute the microphone output without powering it down.

4.2 Monitoring Battery Life

  • The handheld transmitter features a Low-Battery LED Indicator. This indicator will illuminate when the battery level is low, signaling that the battery needs to be charged or replaced soon.
  • The QuickMic Receiver also has a Low Battery Indicator (red = needs charged, blue = on).

The WX50 system offers a wireless range of approximately 50 meters (164 feet) under optimal conditions. Factors such as obstacles, other wireless devices, and environmental interference can affect the actual operating range.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care

  • Recharge the receiver's battery when the charge indicator shows low.
  • For the handheld transmitter, replace or recharge the Lithium Ion battery when the low-battery indicator activates.
