Operating Instructions
Scheduling Automatic Irrigation
The Smart Life app allows you to create custom watering schedules. You can set specific start times, durations, and frequencies for your irrigation.
- Timed Irrigation: Set a specific time for watering to begin and end, along with the duration.
- Cyclic Irrigation: Ideal for new lawns or specific plants, this mode allows you to set an irrigation duration and a soak time (pause duration) within a defined period. For example, water for 5 minutes, pause for 6 hours, and repeat.

Manual Watering
To water your garden immediately without affecting your programmed schedule, use the manual watering function in the app. This allows for temporary irrigation as needed.

Rain Delay Function
Activate the rain delay feature in the app to skip watering for 24, 48, or 72 hours if rain is expected. This helps conserve water and prevents overwatering.

Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The timer uses 2 AA batteries. Replace them when the app indicates low battery or the timer stops responding.
- Winterization: Before the first frost, disconnect the timer from the faucet and store it indoors in a dry, protected area to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.
- Cleaning: Periodically check the filter washer at the inlet for debris and clean it if necessary to ensure proper water flow.
- Leak Checks: Regularly inspect connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks occur, re-tighten connections or replace the rubber rings/thread sealing tape.
