Before proceeding, please ensure all items are present in your package:

  • WeChip W3 Air Mouse
  • USB Receiver
  • Charging Cable (USB-C)
  • User Manual (this document)

2.2. Connecting the USB Receiver

The WeChip W3 Air Mouse operates via a 2.4GHz wireless USB receiver. Simply plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your device (e.g., Android TV Box, PC, Smart TV). The remote is plug-and-play, meaning it should be recognized automatically without additional driver installation.

2.3. IR Learning (Infrared Learning)

The W3 Air Mouse supports IR learning, allowing you to program certain buttons (like Power and Volume) from your existing IR remote control. This enables the W3 to control your TV's power and volume directly.

  1. Ensure the USB receiver is NOT plugged into your device when performing IR learning.
  2. Horizontally align the IR lights of your original remote and the W3 Air Mouse, keeping them within 0.5 inches of each other.
  3. Long press the button you want to learn on the W3 Air Mouse (e.g., Power button). The indicator light on the W3 will flash quickly, then slow down, and finally become steady.
  4. While the W3's indicator light is steady, press the corresponding function button on your original remote control (e.g., Power button). The W3's indicator light will flash three times quickly, indicating successful learning. The IR learning record is saved automatically.
  5. Repeat the above steps for other buttons you wish to program (e.g., Volume Up, Volume Down). Note: The mouse cursor and microphone buttons cannot be programmed via IR learning.
  6. After all desired buttons are learned, click the mouse cursor key on the W3 to save the IR learning record and exit learning mode.

  1. Insert the USB receiver into the device you wish to control.
  2. Keep the W3 Air Mouse and the USB receiver within 2 inches of each other.
  3. Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for three seconds. The indicator light on the W3 will flash three times quickly and then stay on, indicating it has entered pairing mode.
  4. Once successfully paired, the indicator light will flash three times quickly again and then turn off automatically. If the indicator light does not flash within 30 seconds but turns off automatically, the pairing has failed. Please try again.

  • Try re-pairing the remote and USB receiver as per Section 2.4.
  • Ensure there are no significant obstructions between the remote and the receiver.
