Setup

1. Unpack all components from the box.
2. Place the warmer unit on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface near an electrical outlet.
3. Attach the measuring cup to the designated holder on the back of the warmer unit for convenient storage.
4. Familiarize yourself with the warming guide provided in the instruction manual to determine appropriate water levels for different bottle sizes and materials.

Operating Instructions

Warming Bottles and Food Jars

1. Consult the warming guide to determine the correct amount of water needed based on the bottle's size, material (glass or plastic), and starting temperature.
2. Fill the provided measuring cup with the recommended amount of water.
3. Pour the water from the measuring cup into the warmer's reservoir.
4. Place the baby bottle or food jar into the lift-out basket. If using a narrow bottle, ensure the adapter ring is correctly positioned for a snug fit.
5. Carefully lower the basket with the bottle/jar into the warmer unit.
6. Place the lid securely on top of the warmer.
7. Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate orange, signaling that the warming cycle has begun.
8. The warmer will automatically turn off when the water has evaporated and the cycle is complete. The indicator light will turn off.
9. Carefully remove the lid, being mindful of hot steam. Use the handle of the lift-out basket to safely remove the warmed bottle or food jar.
10. Always test the temperature of the contents on your wrist before feeding to ensure it is safe for your baby.

Sterilizing Small Parts

1. Fill the measuring cup with water (refer to the instruction manual for specific water levels for sterilization).
2. Pour the water into the warmer's reservoir.
3. Place small baby accessories such as nipples, pacifiers, or small bottle parts into the lift-out basket.
4. Lower the basket into the warmer unit.
5. Place the lid securely on top of the warmer.
6. Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate orange, signaling that the sterilization cycle has begun.
7. The warmer will automatically turn off when the water has evaporated and the cycle is complete. The indicator light will turn off.
8. Carefully remove the lid, being mindful of hot steam. Use the handle of the lift-out basket to safely remove the sterilized items.

Maintenance

Cleaning and Descaling

Regular cleaning and descaling are essential to maintain the performance and longevity of your Dr. Brown's Insta-Feed Baby Bottle Warmer and Sterilizer.

1. Ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning.
2. To descale, pour white vinegar into the water reservoir. The amount needed will depend on the level of mineral buildup.
3. Allow the vinegar to sit in the reservoir for approximately 15 minutes.
4. After 15 minutes, carefully pour out the vinegar.
5. Wipe the interior of the reservoir and other accessible parts with a damp cloth to remove any remaining residue.
6. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
7. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
