Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your SmallRig Top Handle.

  • Storage: Store the handle in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connection points for tightness. Re-tighten with the provided Allen wrench if any looseness is detected.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SmallRig Top Handle, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Handle Feels Loose: Ensure the thumb screw is fully tightened. Use the included Allen wrench for additional leverage if needed.
  • Accessories Not Fitting Cold Shoe: Verify that the accessory is cold shoe compatible. Ensure no debris is obstructing the cold shoe slot.
  • Accessories Not Securing to Threaded Holes: Check that the accessory's screw size matches the handle's threaded holes (1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16). Do not force incompatible screws.
