3. Setup and Installation
The NATO Top Handle is designed for quick and secure attachment to any camera cage equipped with a NATO rail. Note: A NATO Rail is not included and must be purchased separately.
- Identify NATO Rail: Locate the NATO rail on your camera cage.
- Position Handle: Align the NATO clamp on the bottom of the top handle with the NATO rail on your camera cage.
- Secure Attachment: Push the handle onto the NATO rail. Use the built-in knob to tighten the NATO clamp securely. Ensure the handle is firmly attached before use.

- 5 Built-in Cold Shoe Mounts: Three cold shoe mounts are located at the front of the handle, and two at the back. These allow for simultaneous connection of up to five external devices such as LED lights, monitors, microphones, or wireless transmitters.
- 12 Threaded Holes: The handle includes ten 1/4"-20 threaded holes and two 3/8"-16 locating holes for ARRI accessories. These enable the attachment of additional accessories like monitor mounts (e.g., SmallRig 2903B) and magic arms (e.g., SmallRig 2066B).
