1. Important Safety Instructions

• Personal Safety: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, sturdy footwear, and hearing protection. Do not operate the mower barefoot or in open-toed sandals.

• Battery Care: Use only the specified battery pack and charger. Do not expose battery packs to fire or excessive temperature. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack outside the temperature range specified in the instructions.

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your lawn mower before first use.

3.1 Handle Assembly

1. Unfold the lower handle section and secure it into position using the provided fasteners.
2. Attach the upper handle section to the lower handle, ensuring all cables are routed correctly and not pinched. Secure with the quick-release clamps or bolts.

3.2 Grass Collection Bag Assembly

1. Assemble the grass bag frame and attach the fabric bag to the frame.
2. Lift the rear discharge flap of the mower and hook the grass collection bag onto the mower chassis. Ensure it is securely seated.

3.3 Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the top of the mower deck.
2. Slide the fully charged 20V/4.0Ah battery pack into the battery slot until it clicks into place.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions

Proper operation ensures efficient mowing and extends the life of your machine.

4.1 Charging the Battery

• Connect the charger to a suitable power outlet.
• Insert the battery pack into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
• A full charge typically takes approximately 100 minutes. Remove the battery once fully charged.

4.2 Adjusting Cutting Height

• Ensure the mower is turned off and the battery is removed before adjusting the cutting height.
• Locate the cutting height adjustment lever on the side of the mower.
• Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired position (20mm, 40mm, or 60mm). Ensure it locks securely into place.

4.3 Starting and Stopping the Mower

• To Start: Press and hold the safety button, then pull the bail lever towards the handle. Release the safety button once the motor starts.
• To Stop: Release the bail lever. The motor will stop immediately.

4.4 Mowing Tips

• For best results, mow dry grass.
• Overlap cutting swaths slightly to ensure an even cut.
• Avoid overloading the motor by not attempting to cut excessively long or thick grass in a single pass. Adjust cutting height if necessary.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your lawn mower.

5.1 Cleaning

• Always remove the battery pack before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• Clean the mower deck and blade area after each use to prevent grass buildup. Use a brush or cloth; avoid using water directly on electrical components.
• Empty and clean the grass collection bag regularly to maintain airflow and collection efficiency.

5.2 Blade Care

• Inspect the blade for sharpness and damage regularly. A dull blade can tear grass, leading to an unhealthy lawn.
• If the blade is damaged or excessively dull, it should be replaced by a qualified service technician.

5.3 Storage

• Store the mower in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children.
• Remove the battery pack from the mower before storing for extended periods. Store the battery in a cool, dry place, partially charged.
• The handle can be folded for compact storage.
