Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear when riding. Be aware of local traffic laws and regulations. Regular inspections and maintenance are crucial for safe operation.
- Pre-Ride Check: Before each ride, check tire pressure, brake function, battery level, and ensure all quick releases and fasteners are secure.
- Braking: The e-bike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. Familiarize yourself with their strong stopping power. Practice braking in a safe, open area.
- Battery Safety: Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Use only the provided charger.
- Water Exposure: While the battery is IP65 waterproof, avoid submerging the e-bike in water or riding in extremely heavy rain to prevent damage to electrical components.
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 300 lbs.
Setup and Initial Use
1. Unpacking and Assembly
Your Rattan LM/LF Ultra e-bike comes largely pre-assembled. Carefully remove all packaging materials. Unfold the bike and secure all locking mechanisms. Attach any remaining components such as pedals, handlebars, and front wheel if not already installed. Refer to the included assembly guide for detailed steps.
2. Initial Battery Charge
Before your first ride, fully charge the 40.5Ah battery. Connect the 4.5A fast charger to the charging port on the battery, then plug it into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when charging is complete. A full charge can take several hours.
